About Us

Since 1965 The Paralympic Sports Association (PSA) has been providing adaptive recreation and sport programs in Alberta. We offer grassroots programs open to anyone, and are proud to have been the starting grounds for many National and Paralympic level athletes.

PSA’s main office is in Edmonton, Alberta, with chapter organizations in Medicine Hat (Medicine Hat Adaptive Sport and Recreation) and Hinton (Hinton Adaptive Sport). 

The PSA offers sport and recreation programs for children, youth, adults and seniors with physical and/or developmental disabilities. Please check our our programs under ’what we offer’ and contact us with any questions.

The Paralympic Sports Association (PSA) is an inclusive organization dedicated to enhancing the well-being of individuals with disabilities and their support networks, through adaptive recreational and sporting activities.

To provide recreational and sporting opportunities for individuals with a disability across the province of Alberta. To develop long lasting partnerships with organizations and communities that will increase awareness, opportunities and the quality of life for persons and families living with disabilities.
