Sledge Hockey

Sledge Hockey is an adapted form of stand-up hockey played by the same rules. Players sit in a sledge and use two sticks to maneuver themselves and handle the puck. Volunteers will help coaches with running drills on ice, rounding up pucks, pushing players, assisting players off-ice with equipment or getting into/out of their sledge. Volunteers may also help during in town games. No experience with sledge hockey or working with people with disabilities is required. An interest in hockey or skating would be an asset.
