Wheelchair Floor Hockey
As a volunteer, your job will be to drop the ball when a team scores, referee and keep the ball in play. Volunteers may be required to assist participants with the equipment before and after the program. Additionally, you may be required to push participants who are unable to self-propel. You do not need experience working with people with disabilities or even be good at hockey, but as long as you have a positive attitude, you will feel the satisfaction of impacting another person’s life through your time and energy
- Dates: September 25th, 2024- April 2nd 2025 (No program December 25 or January 1)
- Time: Wednesday @ 5:00 - 6:00 pm (Participants are welcome to arrive early and wait inside the ACT centre prior to program but we will not have access to the gym itself until 5:00pm)
